Electric Vehicle Charging

If you are an electric vehicle (EV) owner, or are thinking of becoming one, then you probably already know that the most convenient place to charge your vehicle is at home.

Metro Electric’s team of qualified electricians will complete a site assessment to ensure your home has the right electrical capacity for EV charging, pull necessary permits and ensure you have enough space for an EV charger.

Level 2: 240v. Requires EV charger installation.

A 240-volt Level 2 charger is the fastest way to juice up an EV at home, adding four or more times as many miles per hour of charge. A Level 2 charging option charges your vehicle’s battery 10-20 miles of range per hour.

Please note: Your Level 2 charging station will need to be purchased by you ahead of your scheduled installation.

Electric vehicle charging is right at your fingertips. Contact Metro Electric today to learn more about the EV charging options that can help you get started on your EV journey!

IMPORTANT Note: All EV charger installations and site assessments should only be completed by qualified electricians who have been trained and are insured and bonded to complete electrical work.

DTE Customers can cash in on a $500 rebate!

You could qualify when you buy or lease an EV, enroll in an eligible Time of Day rate and install a Level 2 charger.

Please see the residential rebate terms & conditions for a complete list of participation requirements. Customers must fulfill all three requirements before applying.
